All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Walker, Walter Scott Walter Scott Walker, 81, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on March 23, 2007. Walter was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Oklahoma. He served in the Korean War as a Marine Corp pilot and was honorably discharged after 20 years of service at the rank of Captain. During the late 1960s thru the 1970s he worked in the marketing and distribution industry in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was last stationed at the end of his military career. In 1979 he retired and moved to Scottsdale with his wife, Mina, and son, Colin. He is survived by his wife and son, and also his daughter, Sandy, from a previous marriage and her three grandchildren, Eric Syler, Shane and Cassy Anderson. Walter had a great sense of humor and was a very kind and caring man. He donated to many charities and always had much insightful advice about life. He and his son enjoyed many hobbies and sports together including flying light aircraft, camping, fishing, hiking and basketball. Walter was a very proud and respected man and will be loved and missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held for him on Saturday, March 31st at 11am at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale.
