Weitz, George Phillip

Turlock

Feb. 9, 1917 - December 27, 2006

George Phillip Weitz, passed away in Turlock after a long battle with 
Alzheimer's on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Born in Oklahoma, the 
central valley was home. A WWII veteran, he worked as a Brick Mason; 
was past Secretary of the CA Bricklayers Union and past President of 
the Amblers Club. An avid golfer, bowler and fisherman, he enjoyed 
dancing and all sports.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and son, Ronald. He 
is survived by his children, Carlene Kilpatrick of Sun City, AZ, 
Deeda Cearley of Patterson and Gregory Weitz of Sacramento; 4 
sisters; 1 brother; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 
great-great grandchildren.

No services will be held. Allen Mortuary is in charge of 
arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to
