Pawhuska, Okla. burial in that pawhuska city cemetery, Pawhuska, Okla.(heart disease James William (Jim) Gullett was a farmer and a dairy man. He was responsible for lunches to be given to the Indian School and served on that School Board many years. He was a Republican and his wife was a Democrat-both registered to vote in Hominy many times. Both burials in Pawhuska. a son of James William GULLETT and Belle SUMPTER was: Carol James GULLETT, WWII survivor-deceased 2001. Another son was: Harold Vane Gullett who died in 1978, WWII survivor from Pawhuska, another son still living, and the other sister, was: ELLENA FARRIS GULLETT GRIMES, born december 11,1917 in Franklin, Okla. died 2002,and married to Mark Eugene GRIMES on December 14, 1939 in Pawhuska, Okla. He died in Oct 2000. Borger, Texas. Ellena died January 2002, burial in Borger, Tx. Ellena and Mark Grimes both graduates of High School. He with a later graduation. She with class 1936 Pawhuska, Okla. 2. City, Okla., died on November 15, 1974. ss#443-20-5267, (note: as per interview with Belle forrest sumpter gullett of 1970's in her home in =Hominy, Okla. she said, "the WOODARD familys and the GULLETT familys moved from Tennessee to Okla. together in a train of wagons, and homesteaded by the towns of Norman, Tuttle, Moore, Okla. all together" There are marked WOODARD graves at FORD Cemetery in Moore, Okla.
