The following is the complete list of census enumerators for Osage Co. who begin working next week. J. Earnest DUTTON, of Foraker, a part of Big Hill twp. George H. MAINS, Foraker, a part of Big Hill running west to line of Kay County. Wesley WILKINSON, Remington, part of Big Hill twp, north and west of Fairfax and taking in the big bend. George WHILES, Belford, part of Big Hill lying west of Fairfax and taking in the Ox-bow bend. Wm. G. ROBINSON, Fairfax, part of the Big Hill twp, lying south and east of Fairfax. Carlo MARION, Fairfax (Fairfax Town). John C. STEWART, a part of Black Dog twp lying east of Pawhuska and running to the line of Washington County. A.T. SECREST, Okesa, part of Black Dog, lying east of Hominy and extending to the county line. Wm. T. HULL, Hominy, part of Black Dog twp, lying south and east of Hominy and extending to the county line. Frank PRUDOM, Pawhuska, Part of Strike Ax twp, lying south and west and surrounding Pawhuska City. A special agent has been appointed to assist the local enumerators in the Indian districts. W. W. THOMAS of Wewoka, has been assigned tot the 1st and 3rd census districts. He and the Supervisor will meet with the Osage Co. enumerators in Pawhuska, Monday, April 11th for the purpose of talking over these matters. On April 15th, at 8 o'clock, the census takers will start out on their mission of inquiry. The head of each family or someone qualified or informed upon the subject of inquiry will be asked a score of questions regarding the family history and lineage, together with a close inquiry as to the character and quantity of crops growing in 1909. A far reaching inquiry as to number of acres in cultivation, pasturage and forest will be made Questions that may be more or less puzzling to answer off hand are as to the age and birth place of parents, date of marriage and correct age of children. The former tribal relations and ancestry of all remnants of tribes of Indians will be asked for the last time by the department and if correct information is obtained, the final compleation and report will be of important historical interest to the state of Oklahoma.
