All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 30, No. 1 Wednesday, January 3, 2001 Page 5 Edna Mae Blue Edna Mae Blue of Hominy, Okla. was born Sept. 13, 1940 to Oliver Edward and Ethel Mae (Long) Blue. She passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2000 in Tulsa, Okla. at the age of 60. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 at First Assembly of God Church, Hominy with Willis Morgan officiating. Ms. Blue was raised and received her education in Hominy. She was one of the first tenants to make her home in Parkview where she has lived for the past 30 years. She was a cook at Jodies's in Hominy. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Johnny and George Blue; and three sisters, Shirley, Nancy and Adah Blue. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Flora and Roy Brown of Hominy and Joyce and Steve Kendrick of Cleveland; eight grandsons and their spouses, Roy and Courtney Brown, Keith Brown, Brandon Brown, Bradley Brown, and Michael Brown, all of Hominy, Brock Adams of Tonkawa, Okla., and Steven Kendrick and Johnathan Kendrick, both of Cleveland; one great- granddaughter, Maegan Rae Brown of Hominy; three brothers, Jim Blue and Jack Blue, both of Tulsa, and Floyd Blue of Hominy. Burial was at A. J.
