All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Duncan City Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 8 Jan 2003 Jim Broaddus Jim Broaddus, 74, of Duncan died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at 2104 Stoneridge Lane. Mr. Broaddus was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Webb City to James and Stella House Broaddus. He married Lola Pollard on Nov. 6, 1947, in St. Elmo, Ill. Mr. Broaddus served in the United States Air Force. He was an engineer for 35 years with Halliburton Services until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons and daughters-in- law, David and Pam Broaddus of Duncan and Dan and Carol Ann Broaddus of Tyler, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lola Kay and Ted Reynolds of Comanche; a brother, Gene Broaddus of Duncan; grandchildren, Angela Broaddus Villalon and her husband, Steven, Shelli Broaddus Smith and her husband, Chad, all of Duncan, Brandi Broaddus of Norman, Cody Broaddus and Tiffany Broaddus of Palmyra, Pa., Jim Reynolds and his wife, Tracey, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Jason Reynolds and his wife, Kristie, of Moore, Jeremy Reynolds and his wife, Toni, of Chickasha, Nick Reed of Norman, and Courtney Reed of Duncan; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Villalon, Carson Villalon and Austin Smith, all of Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gerry Glass, in 1967. Bearers will be Lanny Landrum, Lon Robinson, Karl Blanchard, Dennis Bilbrey, Jim Braden and Gail Davis. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Richard A. Ellis, Johnny Eubanks, John Douthitt, Paul Garretson, Larry Noble and Darryl Heronemus. Memorial contributions may be made to Chisholm Trail Hospice, P.O.
