All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 30, No. 16 Wednesday, April 18, 2001 Page 5 Fredrick Leonard Burrow Rick Burrow, resident of Fairfax, passed away Fri., April 13, 2001 at Fairfax, following an automobile wreck. He was sixteen years of age. Rick's body will rest in stae at the home at 301 North Tallchief Drive. A rosary service will be held at the home at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2001. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fairfax. Indian graveside services will follow at the Grayhorse Cemetery with Smokey Lookout presiding, assisted by Ira Lookout. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home. Rick was born May 22, 1984 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the son of Fredrick Hugo Burrow and Norma "Shorty" Burnett Jackson. He was a Junior at Woodland High School. Things he enjoyed included football, weight lifting and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Norma "Shorty" Burnett Jackson of the home; his father, Fred Burrow, Santee, California; one sister, Frances Burrow, Fairfax; his paternal grandmother, June Burrow, Barnsdall, Oklahoma; one half sister, Nikki Burrow, Tulsa; two half brothers, Charles A. Bruton and Roger Burrow; five aunts, Gale Hutchens, Samie Lou Cooper, Esther Lowden, Olivia Free and Marie Whiteman; two uncles, Dave Hutchens and John Burrow. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bennie A. Burnett and Helen Ella Osage Burnett; his paternal grandfather, Leonard Burrow; his paternal grandparents, Melvin Free and Elizabeth Free; one half brother, Lawrence Burrow; three uncles, Ben Joseph Burnett, Harold Edward Burnett and Robert Reuben Brown; and one aunt, Eunice Burnett Hamilton. Casketbearers were Jerry Don Petty, Otto Hamilton, Loren Burnett, Joe Burnett, Greg Wofford and Bobby Hutchison. Honorary casketbearers were Caleb Kennedy, Roan Brazee, Darren McKinney, Sam L.
