Butler, aged 68 years, 10 months and 3 days, died of pneumonia at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. L. Kissick, 807 South Price avenue, last Friday, January 11. She was taken ill the preceeding Friday of flu and Tuesday developed pneumonia which resulted in her death Friday. She was born in Lebanon, Alabama, March 8, 1860. Funeral services were conducted at the Nazarene church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. W. H. Barlow. She had been a member of the Methodist church for forty-five years but had attended the Nazarene church since coming to Hominy three years ago. Mrs. Butler is survived by four daughters and one son, Mrs. W. M. Shipman of Webb City, Mo., Mrs. Thomas Williams of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Tom Roark of Tulsa, Mrs. Mekissick of Hominy and W. E. Butler of Pittsburg, Kan. Those who ere present during her illness and funeral were: Mrs. Willaims, Mr. and Mrs. Roark and a niece, Mrs. M.
