::Memory Gardens Cemetery--Pampa TX

Ruby Callis

PAMPA - Ruby Callis, 81, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999. 

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery 
with Lt. Matthew Branscum, chaplain of the Salvation Army of Pampa, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors.

Mrs. Callis was born in Barnsdall, Okla., and moved to Pampa in 1928. 
She moved to Pawhuska, Okla., in 1935, returning to Pampa in 1952. 
She was a housekeeper, waitress and a nurse's aide. She was a member 
of the Salvation Army. 

She married Floyd Callis in 1950 at Sulphur, Okla. He died in 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, Agnes A. Atchley of Pampa; two 
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a greatgreat-
