Casey PAMPA - George L. Casey, 85, died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Jacob Clemmens, rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Casey was born in Seminole, Okla. He moved to Pampa in 1926 from Hominy, Okla. He was a 1929 graduate of Pampa High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree from North Texas State University at Denton. He served five years in the Army during World War II and was a captain in the anti-aircraft division in the European Theater of War. He was a public accountant with Nenstiel and Doggett for 44 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Mr. Casey married Jean Paxson in 1948 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; and two sons, Michael Sean Casey of Southlake and George Patrick Casey of Edmond, Okla. The family requests memorials be to St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School, 727 W.
