All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 30, No. 1 Wednesday, January 3, 2001 Page 5 Jack David Cobb Jack David Cobb of Wynona, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 22, 2000 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Jack was born April 5, 1935 at Section Eight in Hominy, Oklahoma. He married June Clements on January 1, 1954. Jack lived in Pawhuska until 1960 when he and his family left to work in construction. In 1968 Jack, June, Leslie, Laurie and Lynn returned to the family farm to stay, as Jack went to work in the oil field. In 1970 Daughter Lisa was born. In 1977 Jack founded J & J Dozer Service. Jack is survived by his wife, June Cobb; his mother Lillian Cobb; four daughters, Leslie Chambers, Laurie Ledford, Lynn Henley and Lisa Martinez; four sisters, Lois Lawrence, Mary Helen Martin, Hazel Scott and Dorothy Butcher; one brother, Pat Cobb; ten grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at the Wynona School auditorium with Rev. Toby Clemishire officiating. Interment was at the Pawhuska Cemetery.
