Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2002 at the First Osage Baptist Church in Fairfax with Reverend Robert Glasgow presiding, assisted by Reverend George Weston. Interment will be at the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. Alma was born September 8, 1907 at Binger, Oklahoma, the daughter of Millard Monroe Pennick and Cora (Werst) Pennick. She married Edgar Hall on December 20, 1928 at Pawnee, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hall was a member of the first Osage Baptist Church where she was active for many years, having taught in the primary department of the Sunday school for seventeen years. She also later helped in planning, preparing and serving at many church dinners and gatherings. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and playing the piano and organ. Mrs. Hall is survived by: One son, Robert Wayne Hall Sr of Fairfax; one grandson, Robert Wayne (Robbie) Hall Jr. and wife, Cathy, all of Fairfax and one great grandson, Clifton Lee Hall of Fairfax. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Jay Pennick and Ray Pennick; three sisters, LaVerda Hutchinson, Gladys Pennick and Willie Mae Tuter. Casket bearers will be Charles Crabtree, Clyde Moore, Dale Brewer, Dr. Guy Henning, Barney Moore and Ronnie Rice. Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
