The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALVIN ROY McCULLOUGH OCNS - January 25, 2000 - Alvin Roy McCullough, 58, of Barnsdall, died January 21, 2000 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Muskogee. He was born October 24, 1941 in Collinsville, Oklahoma, the son of Leonard and Margarte Viola (McPherson) McCullough. Alvin grew up and received his education in Collinsville prior to entering the Viet Nam War in November 26, 1963. He was discharged May 5, 1964 and reentered the U.S. Army on February 11, 1965 and was discharged February 5, 1968. Alvin married Pat Salkil August 29, 1961 and they made there home in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Pat of the home in Barnsdall, a son Russell and wife Carolyn of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a son Randy McCullough of Barnsdall daughter, Toni Moles and her husband David of Barnsdall, step son, Larry Shaw of Barnsdall and step daughter, Konni Cooper of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; four sisters, LaVetta Reynolds and husband, Jim of Collinsville, Mary Pittman of Tulsa, Leona Reeves of Texas and Luann Hennessy and her husband, Steve of Owasso, Oklahoma; his mother-in-law, Ethel Salkil of Barnsdall, sisters-in-law, Betty Phillips of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Ina Gardner and husband Wayne of Hot Springs, South Dakota; brothers-in-law Jack Salkil and wife Faye of Oklahoma City, Terry Salkil and wife Billie of Claremore, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a very close friend, Ronald Coppege. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2000 at the Barnsdall Assembly of God Church with Jack and Terry Salkil officiating. Interment will follow in the Ethel Reese Cemetery, Barnsdall under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home of Skiatook. Casket escorts will be Gary Allen, John Phillips Jr., Steve Hennessey, David Moles, Dustin Cooper and Keith Cooper. Music will be performed by Ann Smith.
