Ashton Email: listsa7476@sbcglobal.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BACONRIND, Mose - Osage Indian, 25 years of age, died at the home of his father in the Indian village Monday night, quite suddenly. His death was a shock to his many friends. Young Baconrind was the son of Chief Baconrind, one time chief of the tribe, perhaps one of the most widely known Osages, having been given publicity all over the country. The funeral was held at the home of his father in the Indian village, where the tribal services were conducted. While Father Van Durme of the Catholic church conducted the last rites at the church. Interment was made in the local cemetery.
