HUNT OCNS-March 23, 2000-Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, at 1:00 p.m., in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska for Billy E. Hunt, 40, of Hominy, who passed away March 22, 2000 in the Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Billy was born March 5, 1960 in Pawhuska, the son of Edward Elmer and Nellie Louise (Hull) Hunt. He was a kind, gentle hearted and loving father, son, brother and friend to all those around him or who knew him. His ministry in this life was the way he touched others with his smile, words of encouragement and his strength. Billy had many hobbies such as painting, fishing and once was an avid hunter. He loved life and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors are a son, Billy Bear Hunt of Hominy, Oklahoma; his father, Edward Elmer Hunt of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; four brothers, W.C. Hunt and Elmer Hunt both of Stroud, Oklahoma; Jimmy Hunt of Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Rocky Hunt of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Burial will be in The Nelagoney, Oklahoma Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Brown officiating under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Directors.
