Billy was born Feb. 6, 1927, in Webb City, Okla., to Roy and Mabel (Stephens) Taylor. Billie married his wife, Alice, May 19, 1948, in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death May 25, 2006. He lived in several different cities including Ventura, Calif., Roseburg, Ore., and Medford, Ore. He served in the U.S. Army military police company. Billy belonged to the Elks Moose Lodge. Billy loved to reminisce about the many memories of family and friends at Taylors West Winds Ranch. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and western movies and books. Survivors include his children, Dennis Taylor, of Ventura, Calif., Rick Taylor (Alecia), of Ojai, Calif., Pamela Norris, of Central Point, Ore., and Randy Taylor (Carol), of Eagle Point, Ore.; sisters, Pat Cogburn, of Arkansas, and Jean Hutchinson (Wally), of Kansas; and brother, Charles Taylor, of Kansas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Merle Taylor. Memorial services to be held Saturday, Mar. 7, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Perl Siskiyou, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd., Medford, OR.
