PAPPAN REVEREND BERT D. PAPPAN, 47, longtime Wynona Resident, passed away February 1, 2000 at his residence in Wynona, Oklahoma. Bert was born on December 4, 1952 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of Sterling Edward and Lela (Moler) Pappan. He attended The Wynona School System and graduated The Wynona High School in 1970. He and Vicki Swindell were married on April 10, 1970 in The Wynona Assembly Of God Church. A Licensed Assembly Of God Minister, Bert was a member of The Wynona Assembly Of God Church, was President of The G and P Round-Up Club and had served in The Oklahoma National Guard. Surviving are: Wife: Vicki Pappan of the home in Wynona, Oklahoma 3 Children: Linda and her husband Kevin Green of Tulsa, Oklahoma Will and his wife Sissy Pappan of Wynona, Oklahoma Faith and her husband James Allison of Barnsdall, Oklahoma A brother, James Pappan and his wife Paula of Hominy, Oklahoma 3 Grandchildren --- Kirsty Pappan, DeWayne Pappan and Michala Allison and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna. Services will be Thursday, February 3, 2000 at 1 1:00 A.M. in The Wynona Assembly Of God Church, with burial in The A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma. Reverend Dan Edens, Reverend Terry Jarrard and Reverend David Downing will officiate under the directions of Johnson's Funeral Directors.
