Mrs. Duncan was born May 20, 1924, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arthur Mortimer and Trixie May Mortimer and received her early education in the rural Hominy schools. She was united in marriage to Don T. Duncan on November 15, 1939 at Hominy and was a homemaker who enjoyed music, working puzzles, cooking, crocheting and handcraft painting. Survivors include: Four children; Linda Cullom of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Tom Duncan, Hominy; Danny Duncan, Inola, Oklahoma, and Jack Duncan of Spring Valley, California; one sister, Opal Thompson of Cleveland, Oklahoma; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Mary Noble, and one brother, Jim Mortimer. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax, Oklahoma.
