Born November 7, 1944 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Charles Arthur "Roy" and Myrtle (Daniels) Cass, he married Gladys Welborn, February 20, 1964 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. A restricted Osage Indian and a participant of The Grayhorse IN-LON-SHKA, Chock attended The Jones Academy, The Pawnee Boarding School, The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and The Chilocco Indian School. His Osage Indian name, WAH-NAH-SHEH-SHE of The Molted Indian Clan was given to him by Fred Lookout, Jr. Chock was employed by Coca-Cola, The Osage Oil Transportation Company and The Hominy Pump and Supply Company, retiring due to ill health. Survivors in addition to his wife, Gladys of the home in Pawhuska, are: three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Lewis and Kathy Cass and Daniel Newton and Jessie Cass of Pawhuska and Timothy and Charlene Allen of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a daughter, Summer Lorene Cass-Bighorse of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Marion Cass, Jim Maxwell and LeeAnn Cass of Pawhuska; Leroy and Joyce Cass of Sperry, Oklahoma and George Frederick of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Cass Conley, Cynthia "Tincie" Cass and John Pradmore of Pawhuska; Charlotte "Jo" Cass and James Fowler of Fairfax, Oklahoma and Lila Jeannine Cass and Melvin Dooling of Skiatook, Oklahoma. Also three grandsons, Jacob Lynn Cass and Jamison Andrew Cass of Pawhuska and Amos Allen of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Lauren Nicole Cass and Whitney Lynn Cass of Pawhuska; an aunt and uncle, Henry and Ruby Whiles of Pawhuska and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Chock will lie in state at the Wakon Iron Community Building where funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow in Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Directors.
