Charity was born January 25, 1912, in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wesley and Rosa (Garrett) Bearskin. On October 7, 1947, she married Francis F. "Ish" Quinton in Sedan, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1988. Charity was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe. Survivors are: A son, Joseph Quinton and wife, Sharon of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Melanie K. Quinton and husband, Blue Starr, V, of Pawhuska: Great-grandchildren: Hayley Wilson and Blue Joseph Starr, VI, also of Pawhuska; numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her husband, Charity was preceded in death by a son, Charles Frank Ware and a daughter, Roberta Turley Lovett. Graveside services will be Friday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m., in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Pastor Creth Hopkins of the Osage Indian Baptist Church officiating. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
