CLYDE VIRGIL CONNER

OCNS - September 3, 2002 - Clyde Virgil Conner, 52, passed away Friday, 
August 31, 2002 in the Green Park Nursing Home, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Clyde was born July 16, 1950 in Hominy, Oklahoma, the son of Jake and Orea 
(Wilson) Conner and was reared in California, where his family worked the 
farms for many years.   Twenty-two years ago the family returned to the 
Osage County, Oklahoma area and six years ago Clyde became a permanent 
resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Survivors include:   One son, Jason Conner of Arkansas; two brothers, 
Frank Conner of Pawhuska and Ken Conner of Peabody, Kansas; two sisters, 
Wilma Conner of Pawhuska and Mary Kennedy of Chowchilla, California; 
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a 
host of other family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents 
and two brothers, Jake Conner, Jr. and Hank Conner.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, in 
the Nelagoney Cemetery, Nelagoney, Oklahoma.

Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
