The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CAROLYN JENNIE LYNN OCNS - July 7, 2000 - Carolyn Jennie Lynn, 65, was born December 23, 1934 In Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the daughter of Denver L. and Genevieve (Cummings) Curry and died July 3, 2000 in her rural Pawhuska home. She attended Pawhuska schools, graduating from Pawhuska High School in 1952. She studied Dance under Mrs. Evelyn Whitsitt and later gave lessons in Pawhuska and Shidler, Oklahoma. Some of her early hobbies were bowling, duck hunting and trout fishing. Jennie was married to J. Roger Lynn and the couple had five sons. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska where Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, July 7. Interment followed in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Survivors are four sons, John Patrick Lynn and Joseph Roger Lynn of Norman, Oklahoma and William Roger Lynn and Michael Kelly Lynn of Pawhuska; two sisters, Joann Wells of Laguna Niguel, California and Cecelia (Sue) Holden of Talala, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews. Jennie was preceded in death by both parents, her brother, Denver and her son, Stephen Allen Lynn. She will be extremely missed as a compassionate mother, sister and grandmother. Johnson Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
