The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CAROLYN SUE PEUGH HUNTLEY OCNS - March 21, 2002 - Carolyn Huntley was born in the Foraker area of Shidler, Oklahoma, on January 24, 1940, to Susie Viola Grube Peugh and Bert Peugh. On March 17, 2002, at the age of 62, she entered into rest at her residence in Hominy, Oklahoma. Carolyn was reared and educated in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and married Charles Huntley who was in the military and they traveled across the United States for many years. She was a good mother and grandmother and attended the Assembly of God Church in Hominy. Carolyn enjoyed visiting with friends at the Senior Center and will be missed by many of her friends and church members. Carolyn is survived by her son, Charles Huntley, Jr., and his wife, Margaret, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Joan C. and husband, James Komance of Tacoma, Washington; four brothers, David Peugh of Hominy; Delbert Peugh of Dallas, Texas, Garland Peugh of Dallas and Eulon Peugh of Wichita, Kansas; one aunt, Pauline Hazlett of Pawhuska and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Daniel Peugh. Graveside services were held March 21, 2002, at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, north of Hominy, Oklahoma, under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
