All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Tucson Citizen, Tucson AZ Sally Louise DeVore Sally DeVore, 88, died at St. Mary's Hospice in Tucson, Arizona on December 27, 2004 after a month-long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Glass; six sisters and by her husband of 68 years, Cliff. She is survived by a brother, Jack Glass; by four children, Shirley Kirkpatrick (Robert), Rex (Lenora), Ruth Over (Frank), and Jim (Jeanie), by 13 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren, 13 nieces and 12 nephews. Sally was born in Grainola, Oklahoma. Her family moved to Douglas, Arizona and the Price Canyon Ranch 50 miles northeast of Douglas when she was nine years old. Sally and Cliff lived in Douglas most of their lives except for short periods when they lived in Oklahoma, Warren, Arizona and in Mexico while Cliff worked for the American- Mexican AFTOSA program in the late 1940's. Sally and Cliff moved to Green Valley, Arizona in 1999 to be close to family. Sally was lovingly known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Meme. She was a devoted family member and a devout member of St. Luke's parish in Douglas. She was revered by all who knew her as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt or just a good friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
