All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 38, No. 48 Wednesday November 27, 2002 Bettie Jo Endress was born Dec. 9, 1936 in El Reno to Ed and Gertrude Ellis Tinsley. On Nov. 19, 2002 she entered into rest. She was 65 years of age. Bettie married Don Endress on Aug. 1, 1964 and they moved to Hominy in 1965. Bettie worked hard her whole life raising her family and working outside of the home. Bettie was the Medical Records Supervisor at Hominy Hospital for 20 years. During her time at the hospital she also worked as Administrator for a brief period. She also worked as the Medical Records Supervisor at Dick Conner Correctional Center for about 17 years. She enjoyed and was very active in her church, Church of the Nazarene in Hominy. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Bettie is survived by her husband of the home, three daughters Barbara Philippe of Parker, CO, Debra Tull of Cushing, Donna Graham of Richmond, Missouri, five sons Michael Endress of St. Peters, Minnesota, Bobby Endress of Moore, Darrell Endress of Sperry, Don Endress Jr. of Hominy, Jason Endress of Claremore, two brothers Coy Tinsley of Seneca, Missouri, Bill Tinsley of Hominy, two sisters Nova Hotarie of Fort Gibson, Bobbie Metzger of Hominy, and 12 grandchildren. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents. Services for Bettie were held at 10:30 a.m. Sat. Nov. 23, 2002 at The Church of the Nazarene in Hominy. Pastor Harold Johnson officiated. Carl Brown, Randy Carter, Randy Dailey, John Griffin, Bryant Brown, and Timothy Shadlow served as Casket Bearers. Vocalist was Steve Tilley and Pianist was Willa Mae Noel. Interment following church service at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy.
