Frazier Herman R. Frazier, 77, of Bella Vista, AR died Mon., Sept. 17, 2001, at his home in Bella Vista. He was born November 18, 1923 in Wynona, to Clyde M. Frazier and Dovie Coffman Frazier. He and his brothers operated a family business which was started by his father in 1916 in Hominy. He was a member of the First Christian Church and American Legion here in Hominy. He moved to Bella Vista, AR 11 years ago from Hominy. He was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church. He was member of the Bella Vista VFW Post 9063-Honor Guard, 80th Division Veterans Association and 45th Division Veterans Association. He was a member of the Men's 18 Hole Golf Association and other golf groups and the Oklahoma Club. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army in the European Theater and the Korean Conflict receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Clyde Frazier, Jr. and James C. Frazier. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Frazier of Bella Vista, AR; four sons, Richard and wife Susan Frazier of Duncanville, TX, Douglas B. Frazier of Skiatook, Daniel and wife Kaye Frazier of Hominy, Will and wife Jill Frazier of Marlow; one brother, William L. Frazier of Sand Springs; one sister Doris M. Gould of Tulsa; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Thurs., Sept. 20, 2001 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR with Reverend Richard Lindman officiating. A second Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Fri., Sept. 21, 2001 at the First Christian Church in Hominy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Bella Vista Community Church Foundation, 75 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista AR 72714 or to the Washington Regional Friends of Hospice, 34 West Colt Square, Suite 1, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
