The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DELLA MAE DIAZ OCNS - November 13, 2001 - Funeral services with Pastor Bill Benefiel officiating will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 15, in the New Hope Assembly Church in Dewey, Oklahoma, for Mrs. Della Mae Diaz, 58, resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who died Saturday, November 10, 2001, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Della was born June 4, 1943, at Wallace, Idaho, the daughter of Gonzlas Porter and Maggie Irene (Moore) Cross and moved to Oklahoma when she was five years old. She attended school in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, and Central Junior High School in Bartlesville. August 20, 1966, in Nowata, Oklahoma, Della married Henry Diaz who survives at the home. The couple attended the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Bartlesville. Survivors in addition to her husband include: one son, Henry Diaz, Jr., one daughter, Helen Diaz and her husband, Terry Nordyke all of Bartlesville; her mother, Maggie Irene Cross of Copan, Oklahoma; her son- in-law, Charles Boggs, Jr., of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; two brothers, Floyd Cross and George Cross both of Bartlesville; one sister, Helen Gibson of Copan, Oklahoma; seven grandsons and one granddaughter. Della was preceded in death by her father and one step-daughter, Crystal Malicoat. Burial will be in the White Rose Cemetery, Bartlesville, directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home.
