Marie was born August 30, 1913, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the daughter of James and Emma Davis and married Harold Lewis Copenhaver on June 10, 1935 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1958. Marie was a wonderful mother and beloved wife and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: five children, Virginia Buckley of Harrison, Ohio; Emilie Breitenbach of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Deley Kimbrell of Enid, Oklahoma; Dianne Harris of San Luis Obispo, California, and Nick Copenhaver of Vancouver, Washington; a brother, Jesse Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Esther King of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and Goldie Johnson of Tulsa; eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Copenhaver was preceded in death by one brother, Ray A. Davis, and two sisters, Laura Duncan and Allie Wright. Funeral mass was recited June 4, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, with interment in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska.
