Donald Lee Keene, 50, resident of Claremore, Oklahoma, died at noon, Friday, February 18, 2000 in St. Francis Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Dewey Oklahoma Cemetery with Reverend Ross Adkins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma officiating under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville. Mr. Keene was born December 2, 1949 at Butler, Missouri to Robert Lee and Alice (Atterberry) Keene. A member of the Baptist faith, he was raised and received his education in the Bartlesville and Dewey, Oklahoma area and was employed with various construction companies until 1990 when he began a career with Tul-Sat Electronics in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is survived by his mother, Alice Norton of Tulsa; two sons, Troy L. Keene of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Shawn L. Keene of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one daughter, Brandy Gilliland of Dewey; three brothers, David Vich, Lynn Vich and Clifford Vich all of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Keene was preceded in death by his father and one stepbrother, Wesley Joe Larmore.
