ENGLE OCNS - March 18, 2002 - Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, for Doris L. Engle, 90, who passed away Thursday, March 14, 2002, in the Barnsdall (Oklahoma) Nursing Home. Mrs. Engle was born August 2, 1911, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe and Levina (Larimore) Adolph. On June 23, 1943, she married Ralph F. Engle in San Diego, California, and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1986. Doris was a past member of the Rebecca Lodge where she served as the Past Noble Grand. Survivors are: Her son, Raymond F. Williams of Pawhuska; two brothers, Eugene Adolph of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, and Lyle Adolph of Turley, Oklahoma; two sisters, Marie Pemberton of Pawhuska, and Falyne Rivers of Peculiar, Missouri; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Muriel and Ardith. Dr. Jim Chambers will officiate at the services and interment in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
