The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DAVID "POON" TINCHER OCNS - April 14, 2000 - Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m., at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula, Oklahoma, for David "Poon" Tincher, 66, former resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, who died April 12. The Reverend Charles Johnson will officiate and burial will be at Greenwood, Cemetery in Eufaula. Mr. Tincher was born July 10, 1933 at Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Dave and Bessie May (Sims) Tincher and was a retired oil field driller. He is survived by Shirley Branch, his companion of twelve years, of the home in Eufaula, a daughter and son-in-law, Rashell and Jim Keene of Clarksville, Arkansas; two step-daughters and spouses, Sonya and Bob Sunday and Laura and Scott Hart, all of Eufaula; a step-son, Frank Yost of Stigler, Oklahoma; a sister and brother-in-law Mickie and John Plumleigh of Wynona, Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 16. Casket bearers will be Russell Lanham, Albert Pollard, Bobby Laughlin, Sonny Graham, Danny Fod and Johnny Pollard. Honorary bearers are Charles Graham, Joe McGuire, Les Lawrence and J.R. Brackett. Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula is in charge of arrangements.
