He was born September 11, 1992, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Amy Marie Glidewell and Jessie Carl Mitchell II. Devin attended Prue School where he was in the third grade. He loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad, enjoyed riding off-road vehicles and traveling with his grandmother. Devin made a special place in his heart for everyone he met. He was a good person to be around and was liked by all who met him. He will be missed by all who knew him. Devin is survived by his parents, Jessie Carl Mitchell II of the home in Prue, and Amy Marie and her husband Brian of Columbus, Indiana; four brothers, Dakota Keith, Jessie Carl III, Brandon Corey and Ethen Alik; his grandfather, Jess Mitchell, of Prue; his grandmother, Virginia Horton of California; Aunt Johnie and Uncle John Stewart; Aunt Ruby and Uncle Bill Poole; Uncle Ron Horton, Aunt Mercel Spiers, Aunt Michelle McGeHee and Uncle Jeff Miller and cousins, Brad and Brooke Mayci; stepmom, Patricia McGeHee and a host of other relatives and friends. Devin was preceded in death by his grandfather, his grandmother, Betty Reid and uncle John Paul Glidewell. Services were held Friday, November 2, at 2:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Prue with Reverend Gary McDevitt officiating. Burial followed in the Prue Cemetery. Pall Bearers were Carl Mitchell, Robert Thomas, Doug Horton, Bob Ames, Bill Poole and Jim Wopart.
