Byrom Edna W. Byrom, of Cleveland was born June 1, 1909 at Cleveland to Clavin M. and Lucretia Rea. Edna grew up on the family farm between the Cimarron and the Arkansas River that her father had claimed during the Oklahoma Land Run. She attended the Dixie Schools and continued to work on the farm after she completed her education. Edna was united in marriage to Delmas Byrom at Cleveland in 1942. Edna and Delmas continued to reside in Cleveland until Delmas passed away in 1960. Edna then moved in with her parents to help take care of them. Edna later began taking care of other people as a care taker. She passed away on Dec. 8, 2001 at Cleveland at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 7 days. She was preceded in death by parents and sister Nellie. Surviving are two brothers, W. G. "Buz" Rea of Houston, Tx., and Forrest Rea of Hominy.
