MOLES OCNS - September 15, 2002 - Ellen C. Moles, 70, long time resident of Wynona, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2002 in the Pawhuska Hospital, Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Ellen was born May 25, 1930 in Lubec, Maine, the daughter of Sara Elizabeth Doran and on January 31, 1959, she married William H. "Pete" Moles in Bangor, Maine. Ellen was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where she had served as Post Mistress for several Osage County (Oklahoma) area post offices, including Barnsdall and Wynona. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include: Her husband, William H. "Pete" Moles of the home; two sons, Stephen Moles and wife, Michelle of Hominy, Oklahoma and Scott Moles of Nashville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Joshua Moles and Courtney Moles of Hominy and numerous cousins and other family and friends. Wake services were held at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, September 15, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska. Mass will be said at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Pawhuska with Father Leonard Higgins officiating. Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy. Johnson Funeral Home of Pawhuska is in charge of arrangements.
