Richardson Ernest Alvin Richardson of Hominy passed from this earth after a long battle with cancer on Oct. 22, 2001. ernie was born on November 19, 1937 in Kimberly, ID to Katurah Ann Worrell and George Calvin Richardson. He was raised and schooled in Colorado. Ernie joined the Army in 1955 and was later stationed in California where he met Carron in 1962. Ernie was honorable discharged from the Army in 1965; he then worked as a truck driver. When he retied from truck driving he move his family to Hominy, where he enjoyed ranching, truck driving, fishing, camping and traveling. He also enjoyed wood crafting. He was always putting the needs of other first, he loved his family and loved to spoil his grandchildren. Ernie is survived by his wife Carron A. Richardson of the home; three sisters, Betty Hindricks of Twin Falls, ID, Dorothy Osterhoudt and Sylvia Foster both of Portland, OR, one son John and wife Mary Richardson of Hominy; four daughters, Sharon Campa of Paso Robles, CA; Linda Engemann of Hominy; Patricia and husband Jon Barba of Hominy; Janet Saunders of San Antonio, TX; 12 grandchildren, David Campa, Michael Campa, Christopher Campa, Christy Engemann, Joshua Barba, Bonnie Saunders, Michael Saunders, John Saunders, Brooke Saunders, Seairra Richardson, Geri Richardson, Jason Richardson; one great-granddaughter Kenidi Campa; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ernie was preceded in death by both his parents; two sisters, Wanda Andrews and Alice Hepworth; one brother, Everett Richardson and one son, James Richardson. Services for Ernest Richardson will be at 10 a.m. Thurs., Oct. 25, 2001 at the Church of the Nazarene in Hominy with Reverend Harold Johnson officiating.
