April 19, 2002 at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa at the age of sixty-seven years, one month and fourteen days. Evelyn was born March 5, 1935 in Prue. She was the daughter of Fred T. and Sarah Ellen (Trotter) Keeling. She was raised and attended school in the Prue area. Evelyn was married to Buford Williams on April 18, 1950 in Tulsa. The couple had two children, Charles and Linda. Evelyn loved children and also enjoyed working in the garden. She will be missed by all her family and loved ones. She is survived by her son, Charles R. Williams of Owasso; daughter Linda McGill of Tulsa; two grandchildren, Angela Williamson and Chris Cather; brother Jimmie Keeling of Hominy; two sisters, Cleda Meyer and Glenda Huddleston, both of Cleveland; and a host of other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Keeling and Sarah Ellen Mitchell. Funeral services were held Tues. April 23, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Deatherage officiating. Burial was held at the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
