The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FLOSSIE MILDRED ANTHONY OCNS - January 27, 2001 - Longtime resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Flossie Mildred Anthony, 91, passed away Tuesday, January 23, in the Barnsdall (Oklahoma) Nursing Home following an extended illness. Flossie was born June 15, 1909, in Dell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Byron and Ora (Ferguson) Monigold and on January 23, 1926, in Pawhuska, she married Charley Ray Anthony who preceded her in death on November 17, 1983. Flossie was a housewife, devoting her time to her husband and her children. Survivors are: two daughters, Aleta Mae Kingen and husband, Burt, of Kerrville, Texas, and Viola Christine Gasper and husband, Bob, of Bridgeport, Texas; two sons, Byron "Sonny" Anthony of Pawhuska and Curtis Wayne Anthony and wife, Ilean of Okemah, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nancy Louise Squires of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, and Mary Powell of Henderson, Nevada; one brother, Elmer Monigold of Spokane, Washington; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Flossie was preceded in death by one son, Charles E. Anthony in 1927 and one daughter, Margaret Hart, in 1991. Services were held January 26, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska with interment in the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
