The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FANNY LOU SNIVELY OCNS - October 19, 2000 - Funeral services for Fanny Lou Snively, 63, lifelong resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Leonard Higgins of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating. Fanny was born September 24, 1937, in Pawhuska, the daughter of William Franklin and Ruby Lucille (Reed) Moore, Sr. and passed away Tuesday, October 17, at her home. She graduated from Pawhuska High School with the Class of 1955. Fanny and James W. "Jim" Snively, Jr., were married August 23, 1955, in Cheyenne, Wyoming and made their home in Pawhuska. Fanny was the City Utilities Manager for the City of Pawhuska until ill health forced her to retire in November of 1998. She devoted her spare time to her family. Survivors in addition to her husband, Jim, of the home in Pawhuska are: two sons and daughters-in-law, James W. "Jimbo" and Leslie Snively III of Pawhuska, and John and Molly Snively of Skiatook, Oklahoma; three brothers and sisters-in-law: W.. "Bill" and Barbara Moore, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Robert and Teresa Moore of Pawhuska; and George F. and Glenda Moore of Grapevine, Texas; four grand children: Amy and Amanda Snively of Skiatook and Thad and Luke Ikenberry of Pawhuska, and a host of other relatives and friends. Burial will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
