The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAYSEMMA CANNON OCNS - July 25, 2002 - Faysemma Cannon, 67, longtime resident of Fairfax, Oklahoma, went on to her Heavenly reward on Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2002, while at the Via Christi - St. Francis Campus of Wichita, Kansas. The funeral was held Wednesday, July 24, in the First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax with The Reverend Robert Glasgow, Pastor officiating. Burial was in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of Hunsaker - Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. Faysemma Daniels was born February 9, 1935 in Fairfax, the daughter of Clarence E. and Mable L. Klein Daniels. She was reared and attended schools in Fairfax, graduating from Fairfax High School. In 1953, she was united in marriage to Roy Grimm in Fairfax where the couple made their home. Later she was united in marriage to Bill Cannon and they also made their home in Fairfax. Faysemma was content in being homemaker for family and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Osage Tribe and had attended the First Osage Baptist Church. Survivors include: Two daughters, Shanda Fay Damron of Athens, Texas and Shawna Hope Murphy of Fairfax; two sons, Daniel Roy Grimm of Fairfax and William Donald Cannon of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Stephen Daniels of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, Zachary Hud Elsberry, Bree Eugena Damron, Charity Faith Damron, Hannah Joy Damron, Ryan Seth Murphy, Marisol Esperanza Murphy and Scarlett Mae Murphy. Faysemma was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Casket bearers were Zach Elsberry, Ryan Murphy, Bill Damron, Bill Murphy, Terry Goodeagle and King Bowman. Albert Beard was an Honorary Casket bearer.
