Fred Stohr From Clarence, MO, newspaper dated 8-30-1944 George Fred Stohr, 76 passed away Sunday, August 13, at his farm, near Sperry, Okla. Mr. Stohr had suffered a stroke of paralysis recently. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 22 from the Latter Day Saints church. Rev. W. P. Rumsey officiated, assisted by Rev. Henry. Interment was in the Sperry cemetery. Mr. Storh had lived in Oklahoma more than 35 years. He lived in Hominy, Okla., a number of years, where he was a merchant. Besides his widow, he is survived by a half-brother, Roy Stohr, of Fresno, Calif., and a half-sister, Mrs. L. A. Dicks, of Maud, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. L. A. Dicks of Maud and Mrs. Raymond Schwada, north of Clarence, attended the funeral services.
