All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 34, No. 12 March 20, 2002 Page 5 Beulah Gladis Geobel Beulah Gladis Goebel passed away March 9, 2002 at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. She was 86 years of age. She was born July 16, 1915 at Boone County, Arkansas to William Patterson and Nancy Rawlins. Beulah married Blackman Goebel on June 21, 1932 in Tishomingo. He preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1999. Also preceding her in death were: her parents, four brothers, and two sisters. She was a dairy farmer and a housewife who enjoyed gardening and her family. Survivors include: sons, Blackman Goebel Jr. of Hominy, Blackman Joe Goebel of Prague and Davie Don Goebel of Dougherty; daughter, Ann Cauley of Hugo; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Rena Waggoner of Boswell and Hope Lovelace of California. Services were held at Fox Funeral Home Chapel on Thurs., March 14, 2002 with Rev. James Densman officiating. Burial was held at Green Hill Cemetery.
