Hall Lois Mae Hall, 82, of Sioux City died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at Holy Spirit Retirement Home in Sioux City following a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Holy Spirit Chapel, with the Rev. Shelley Aakre of First Baptist Church in Vermillion, S.D., and the Rev. Dennis Meinen officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Lois Mae Hall was born July 31, 1921, in Norman, Okla., the daughter of ARchie Lee and Allie Fair (Maxwell) Brown. She married Charles T. Hall Sr. on Sept. 22, 1937, in Brownfield, Texas. She moved most of her life throughout Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, with her husband who worked in oil fields and on ranches. He passed away Jan. 23, 1978, in Norman, Okla. She had been a resident of Sioux City since 1991. The last four years, she had been a resident of Holy Spirit. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her three children and their spouses, Bonnie and Richard Sinor of Sioux City, Ronald T. and Sharon Hall of Houston, Texas, and Charles T. and Shirley Hall Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
