March 26, 2002 at her home in Cleveland, at the age of fifty-four years, nine months and five days. Sandra was born June 21, 1947 in Hominy. She was the daughter of William Conner and Aline Lois (Love) Alexander. Sandra was raised and attended school in Cleveland, graduating from Cleveland High School in 1965. Shortly after graduation, Sandra was married to A. R. "Smokey" Harmon on June 13, 1965 in Hallett. The couple made their home in Cleveland most of their thirty-six years of marriage and had one son, Douglas. Sandra was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to drive around with her sister Katy and shop the used stores. She also enjoyed reading all types of books and home decorating. Sandra worked for various banks in the area as a bank teller and cashier. She was most recently employed at the First Bank of Cleveland. Sandra is survived by her husband, A. R. "Smokey" Harmon, of the home; son, Douglas Harmon, Tulsa; two sisters, Katy Lucas, Cleveland, and Glenda Cox, Pawnee; two brothers, Billy Conner of Pawhuska, and Bobby Conner of Cleveland; and five grandchildren, Sandy Harmon, Wesley Harmon, Waylon Harmon, Sarah Miller and John Miller. She was preced in death by her parents.
