Hawkins, Mildred "Millie" 1926 - 2005

Mildred "Millie" Hawkins, 78, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, in 
Southlake.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: 
Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the 
funeral home.

Millie was born July 25, 1926, in Shidler Okla., to Jesse and Gladys 
Pace.

She was a Southlake resident since 1979. Millie and her husband, JC 
were custom home builders in Southlake and Trophy Club in the early 
1980s. She worked at several dress shops in the area and especially 
enjoyed her job waiting on customers for many years at Kountry Donuts 
in Grapevine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JC.

Survivors: Children, Orval Davis and wife, Linda, Bobby Davis and 
wife, Frances, Linda Rutledge and husband, Vance and Stanley Davis; 
stepchildren, Susan Sanford and husband, Glen and Cal Hawkins; 
sister, Wilma Leake of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; eight 
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous 
relatives and friends.
