The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GLORIA WARWICK Mrs. Gloria Warwick, 79, resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died at 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, in the Heritage Villa Nursing Center in Bartlesville. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Friends who wish to sign Mrs. Warwick's memorial book may do so until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mrs. Warwick may do so to: the Cancer Society C/O Lee Warzel P.O. Box 1094 Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74005. Mrs. Warwick was born September 29, 1920 at New York City, New York to Morris and Lillian (Untrecht) Warner. She was raised and received her education in New York City, graduating high school there. She attended the Comptometry Business School in New York City, for one year. She was married to William Earl "Billy" Warwick on January 18, 1943 at Newport, Rhode Island while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. Mrs. Warwick was employed at Macy's Department Store in New York City, until moving to Dewey, Oklahoma in 1945. She was then employed in various sales jobs in the Bartlesville, area and also was involved in volunteer work with the elderly. Mrs. Warwick is survived by two sons Steve Warwick of Bartlesville, and Bill Warwick and his wife Sheila of Ochelata; seven grandchildren Brad Warwick, Summer Warwick, Matt Warwick, Meredith Warwick Swenke, Amanda Warwick, Terry Gay and t Scotty Gay; four great grandchildren Conner Swenke, Daniel Warwick, Lancelot Gay and Taylor Gay and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Warwick was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Warwick on July 27, 1999 and one daughter, Carol Ann Warwick. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
