Mr. Walker was born November 21, 1937, in Lordsburg, new Mexico, the son of Albert and Oma Jesse (Lawhon) Campos. March 3, 1956, he and Marina Hill were married in Las Vegas, Nevada and in November of 1991, moved to Pawhuska to be near their family. Eugene enjoyed outdoor hobbies, such as hunting, fishing and swimming. He was a mechanic by trade and loved the sport of drag racing and customizing old cars. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include: his wife, Marina of the home; four sons and daughters- in-law; Eugene Walker, Jr., and Susan of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; William A. Walker and Kathy, and Michael E. Walker and Shanna, all of Pawhuska, and Gale W. Walker and Tracy of Chanute, Kansas; a brother, John Walker of Pawhusksa; four sisters, bobbie Tyng, Helen Ponder and Etta Gates, all of Pawhuska, and Thelma Varges of Needles, California; fourteen grandchildren; Amy, Becky, DAniel, Shelby, Charity, Chrissy, Candace, Casey, Craig, Kevin, Taylor, Aubrie, Hunter and Devon; one great-grandchild, Tyrae, and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Robert (R.J.) and Jimmy and one sister, Darlene. Services were held October 17, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jason Elmore of the Friday Nite Church of Bartlesville officiating. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
