BOWMAN OCNS-January 24, 2000 - George L. Bowman, who was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, February 26, 1936, the son of George Virgil and Edna Frances (Caldwell) Bowman, passed away January 17, 2000 in Theodosia, Missouri. He was a retired Product Conduct Planner with Allied Signal and served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors are his wife, Sandra Stevenson Bowman of the home in Theodosia; four sons, George Lewis Bowman of Bangkok, Thailand, Randy Blair and wife Jennie Bowman of Arvada, Colorado, James Robert and wife, Nancy Bowman of Adrian, Missouri, Michael Glenn Bowman of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Dennis and wife Sue and William Blake and wife Sue all of Kansas, Oklahoma, John Clark Duncan of Houston, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, Janaury 22, in The Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
