MOON OCNS - March 25, 2002 - Pawhuska, Oklahoma, resident Georgia M. Moon, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2002, in the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mrs. Moon was born July 25, 1921, in Hulbert, Oklahoma, the daughter of hawk and Ellen (Woodall) Keener. January 15, 1938, in Newkirk, Oklahoma, she married Roy E. Moon who preceded her in death on April 16, 1967. For many years, Mrs. Moon worked as a cook at the Pawhuska Hospital. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: Two sons, Thomas Lee Moon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Richard Steven Moon and wife, P. Jackie, of Spring, Texas; two grandchildren, Erin Tacker and husband, Brian of Grapevine, Texas, and Eric Moon; and a sister, Bernice Harwell of Tulsa. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moon was predeceased by a son, John David Moon, a brother, J.B. Keener, and a sister, Betty Archuleta. Services will be Wednesday, March 27, at 2:00 p.m., in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska, with Reverend Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
