HARRISON OCNS - September 23, 2002 - Gertrude A. Harrison, 91, died at 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at her residence in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Gertrude was born March 23, 1911, in Elgin, Nebraska to John and Maude (Hickman) Voskuhl. She grew up and received her education in Oklahoma and, in 1945, was united in marriage to Tom Harrison. She was employed with John Morrell Meat Packing Plant, retiring from there after many years of service. Gertrude is survived by her sister-in-law, Lucille Voskuhl; two step-sons, George Harrison and Neal Harrison; and by her second family of six years, Andy and Armenda Gaither, Linda Riddle, Kim Millard, Marilynn VanDever, Rene Taylor, Loyce Pester, Charlotte Fortney and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers. Gertrude was a sweet, loving lady who would do anything for you and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A private family service will be held for Gertrude in Arkansas City, Kansas. Cremation and interment was under the direction of the Osage County Cremation Service.
