GERTRUDE K. WITT NEWS RELEASE FROM NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME (Bartlesville, Oklahoma), November 9, 1999 Mrs. Gertrude K. Witt, Age 79, a native and lifetime resident of Bartlesville, died Sunday morning (November 7, 1999) in a local convalescent facility. Graveside committal rites and prayer services for Mrs. Witt will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. on the family plot of the White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville with the Reverend Jess Trammel, pastor of the Bartlesville Tabernacle, presiding. Mrs. Witt was born in Bartlesville, January 10, 1920, the daughter of Joseph Oscar and Bessie (Files) Line, and attended local schools. She married Charley M. witt who preceded her in death November 25, 1986. Mrs. Witt is survived by four sons, Verner Leroy Lowe, Jerry Noland Lowe, Joseph John Hughey and Roger Dale Lowe, all of Bartlesville; three daughters, Burddie Lowe of Norman, Oklahoma, Opal Fern Nading and Carolyn Joyce Lowe, both of Bartlesville; one sister, Gennie Whiteturkey of Bartlesville; one brother, Jack Line of Canada; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Witt was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Hubert Line and James Line and five grandchildren, Cathey, Frankie Lowe, Robin Lowe, Jerry Joseph Nading and James Dean Nading. Services and interment are under the direction of the Neekamp Funeral Home.
